"Natalie, you're doing the right thing." Sometimes the right thing doesn't feel "right" it hurts. It hurts so bad you want to cry. When I look back on the day that I left Jacksonville, I don't regret it. It was hard...really hard. I started crying before the 2 hours drive to the airport. But something my mom said stuck with me, its been 5 months since I got on the plane that day I sometime I think about what she said..."Natalie, you're doing the right thing".

  1. "You're doing the right thing..." and I'm glad you did. So many 'mericans (sorry) stay at home and get a really warped view of the world. Then we sometimes go on missionary trips (or overseas deployments with the armed forces), and come home again thinking, "Okay - that's behind me, I'm home now." And we do, and we are, but the world is a far bigger place with a huge cast of characters. So I'm glad that an excellent person like yourself is going to see it and experience it for long enough to understand the great need for God in the world. Congratulations - you really did the right thing.
